Unveiled in 1986, it succeeded the 208 GTS Turbo and was the supercharged version of the 328 generation. It was developed primarily for the Italian market, where particularly punitive taxes on cars with engines larger than two liters had led Ferrari to develop a V8 with a displacement of just 1,991 cm\u00b3, which, thanks to turbocharging, delivered performance on par with Ferrari models featuring larger engines.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This latest iteration of Ferrari&#8217;s small V8 Turbo engine features an IHI turbocharger paired with a Behr intercooler. The F106 N engine thus produces 254 ch at 6,500 tr\/min, with a claimed top speed of 253 km\/h. Its performance is very close to that of the naturally aspirated 328 GTS, despite a displacement limited to two liters. Ferrari itself officially lists the model under the name \u201cGTS Turbo.\u201d   <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Aesthetically, the GTS Turbo echoes the particularly striking lines of the 328 designed by Pininfarina, while retaining several details that allow connoisseurs to identify it: NACA air intakes in front of the rear wheels, a special engine hood designed to feed the intercooler, ventilation openings in the rear skirt, and a roof spoiler. The removable Targa roof, meanwhile, offers the pleasure of open-air driving. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The GTS Turbo is now significantly rarer than a 328 GTS. Only 828 units were produced between 1986 and 1989, compared to more than 6,000 units for the 328 GTS. Its hardtop counterpart, the GTB Turbo, was even rarer, with only 308 units produced.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The vehicle we are offering is a 1987 Ferrari GTS Turbo, model F106 AS\/TR, chassis no. 73935 (ZFFZA28B000073935). Its Italian documentation confirms that it is equipped with an F106 N engine, has a displacement of 1,990 cm\u00b3, and produces 187 kW of power.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Its history also offers an interesting glimpse into its Italian past. Notably, the car was owned for many years by Fabio Venturini in the Verona area. Several technical inspections and maintenance records document its presence in Italy throughout the 2000s and 2010s. It then passed into the hands of Cristiano Luzzago in Brescia, a renowned Italian professional in the classic car world.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In April 2015, shortly before leaving Italy, it underwent a major service at Noci Motor Classic, which included, among other things, the replacement of the timing belts and their tensioners, as well as various accessory belts, engine oil, and coolant. It was then officially deregistered from the Italian registry on May 5, 2015, in preparation for its export to another European Union country. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">More recently, in August 2026, a major service was just completed, including, notably, the replacement of the timing belts and tensioners. This is a particularly important aspect of this type of Ferrari and ensures that its next owner can enjoy the car right away. <\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This GTS Turbo is currently in excellent overall condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
